About Us

As the heading above says we are . . . a body of believers thoroughly committed to fulfilling the great commission . . . in the power of the Holy Spirit . . . under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ.

So, are we there yet?  No.  But this is what we are, with God’s help, in the process of becoming.  Does that resonate with your heart?  Then we invite you to join us and embark on the journey together.

OUR CHURCH:  Grace Church is an independent church—as in we are not a member of a denomination or an association of churches and, we are an evangelical church—that is, we take the Bible seriously and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as our only Lord and Saviour.

OUR LEADERSHIP:  At Grace Church we are congregational, meaning, that the membership of Grace Church are the top authority.  Their key function is to elect the directors, to approve the annual budget and to make major decisions that effect the church.  The day-to-day oversight of the church—its people and operation—is conducted by a team of elected elders.  Currently we have five elders: David Liebich (our moderator), Jeff Tegart, Mark Cox, Mark Engel and Richard Wilson.  The “two Marks”—Mark Cox and Mark Engel have somewhat different roles as elders as in they are paid part-time and consequently are given a greater amount of responsibilities.

OUR KEY STATEMENTS:  Below you’ll find statements that will help you understand us a little better.  Just click on the title and you’ll be taken to that page . . .
